Part of our debut in-house collection, the Jamila Dress is named after the founder's great grandmother, who originally came from Nablus as a bride and lived the remainder of her adult life in Syria. This distinct fabric, which Damascus merchants call "Al Nabulsiyya," has been produced in Aleppo and Damascus then used by Palestinian women in their thobes for centuries. The Jamila dress is a celebration of our rich shared history across Bilad el Sham.
The dress features an elegent godet side panel, ruffle sleeves, and is fully lined front and back in a striking red Saya, making it very suitable for fall/winter as it is quite a heavy piece!
It fits slightly oversized and comes with a matching belt.
Made in Damascus
