The Fairuz Dress

The Fairuz Dress features a striking forest green Saya fabric (Syrian Silk cotton blend) and dainty floral embroidery  in a soft powder blue colour. 

To make the Aghabani embroidery, a craftswoman guides a handheld stitching machine along a blue pattern stamped onto the fabric with washable ink. The garment is then washed and pressed leaving a luxuriously soft, beautifully ornamented dress.
