The Amira Dress

The Amira, or princess dress, features Saya (Syrian Atlas Satin) in elegant Maroon and gold with metallic accents. 

To make the Aghabani embroidery pattern, a craftswoman guides a handheld stitching machine along a blue stencil stamped onto the fabric with ink. The garment is then washed and pressed leaving a luxuriously silky, beautifully ornamented dress.
