The Yasmine Dress

This Damascene coat is made with Syrian Saya, a traditional silk-cotton blend woven in a striped pattern. The Yasmine dress features a rich sky blue satin with a feminine floral embroidery in shades of plum, olive, and champagne.

Pit to Pit (Lying flat): 31”

Length (neck to hem): 54”

To make the Aghabani embroidery pattern, a craftswoman guides a handheld stitching machine along a blue stencil stamped onto the fabric with ink. The garment is then washed and pressed leaving a luxuriously soft, beautifully ornamented dress.
