The Jamila Robe

This breathtaking robe features a luxurious, iridescent brocade in two color ways: vampy olive green and vibrant emerald. The olive green features golden embroidery while the emerald is adorned with a bold white and metallic design. Photos don’t do this piece justice!

To make the Aghabani embroidery, a craftswoman guides a handheld stitching machine along a blue pattern stamped onto the fabric with washable ink. The garment is then washed and pressed leaving a luxuriously soft, beautifully ornamented dress.
