The Hajar Dress

This elegant 3/4 sleeve dress is made with Syrian Asaweri, a traditional satin woven in a striped pattern. The Hajar dress features a deadstock black and royal blue pinstripe fabric with dreamy embroidery in hunter green and gold.

Pit to Pit Lying Flat: 28”

Length (neck to hem): 49” 

To make the Aghabani embroidery, a craftswoman guides a handheld stitching machine along a blue pattern stamped onto the fabric with washable ink. The garment is then washed and pressed leaving a luxuriously soft, beautifully ornamented dress.
