The Bashaat Robe

The Sultana Robe, features an incredible dead stock Syrian Saya in chrome and dusty purple or Icy blue, with bold floral embroidery.

To make the Aghabani embroidery pattern, a craftswoman guides a handheld stitching machine along a blue stencil stamped onto the fabric with ink. The garment is then washed and pressed leaving a luxuriously silky, beautifully ornamented dress.
