The Maria dress, features an incredible dead stock Syrian Saya in elegant Maroon and chrome, with bold floral embroidery in shades of red, burgundy, olive, and silver.

To make the Aghabani embroidery pattern, a craftswoman guides a handheld stitching machine along a blue stencil stamped onto the fabric with ink. The garment is then washed and pressed leaving a luxuriously silky, beautifully ornamented dress.
