The Halawa Robe

The Halawa Robe features a multicolour Saya with white and soft pastels and a soft champagne embroidery; evoking the colourful sweet shops of old Damascus. This piece is one-of-one!

Length (back neck to hem): 52"

 To make the Aghabani embroidery, a craftswoman guides a handheld stitching machine along a pattern stamped onto the fabric with washable ink. The garment is then washed and pressed leaving a luxuriously soft, beautifully ornamented dress.
